56C. Recovery of funds and other assets
(1)Any funds recovered by the Commission shall be paid into the Consolidated Fund.(2)Notwithstanding any provision in this Act or any other written law, any asset or property, whether movable or immovable, recovered either in the course of, or upon conclusion of investigations, or upon commencement of court action or proceedings, whether such proceedings are of a civil or criminal nature or upon conclusion of such proceedings, shall be surrendered to the Principal Secretary for the National Treasury.
