Upon the declaration of the final results of the election of the Governor by the Commission under Article 180 of the Constitution and section 39 of the Elections Act (Cap. 7), the Committee shall ensure that the Governor-elect and Deputy Governor-elect are accorded adequate security.Source: Kenya Law
