93. Computation of time

(1)Where, by this Act, the time limited for doing any act or thing is less than three days, in reckoning time, non-business days are excluded.

(2)"Non-business day" for the purposes of this Act means—

(a)in the case of any bill—

(i)a Sunday;

(ii)a public holiday; or

(iii)a bank holiday declared in respect of all banks under section 46 of the Banking Act (Cap. 488); and also

(b)in the case of a foreign bill, a Saturday and any other day is a business day.
