50. Seizure of prohibited articles, etc
Whether or not any criminal or disciplinary proceedings are commenced against any person, any prison officer on the staff of a borstal institution may seize any article found to be unlawfully in a borstal institution, and the superintendent may order its confiscation and it shall thereupon be forfeited.Source: Kenya Law
