9. Appointment and remuneration of staff
(1)The Authority may appoint such other officers and servants as it considers necessary for the efficient discharge of its responsibilities and functions.(2)The officers and servants appointed under subsection (1) shall be remunerated in such manner and at such rates, and shall be subject to such conditions of service, as may be determined by the Authority.(3)Every officer or servant appointed under subsection (1) shall, subject to this Act, exercise such powers and functions and perform the duties assigned to him or her from time to time by the chief executive.
