23. Principals of colleges within the Institute

23. Principals of colleges within the Institute
(1)There shall be a Principal for each college within the Institute who shall be appointed by the Council on such terms as may be determined by the Statutes.(2)The Principal shall be the academic and administrative head of the college and shall, under the general authority of the Vice-Chancellor, have such other powers and duties as may be provided for by the Statutes.(3)The Principal shall hold office for a term of five years and shall be eligible for re-appointment for one further term.
