12. Membership of the Institute

12. Membership of the Institute

(1)The members of the Institute shall be—

(a)the Chancellor;

(b)members of the Board;

(c)the Vice-Chancellor;

(d)the Deputy Vice-Chancellors;

(e)Directors of Directorates;

(f)the Deputy Directors of Administrative Departments;

(g)the Deans of Schools;

(h)Head of Legal Services or the Corporation Secretary;

(i)the Chief Finance Officer;

(j)the Director of Medical Services of the Institute;

(k)the Staff of the Institute;

(l)the Research and Academic Staff of the Institute;

(m)the Principal Librarian;

(n)the Registrars;

(o)the Alumni;

(p)the Alumni Association;

(q)the students; and

(r)such other members of staff of the Institute or any other body formally admitted into association with the Institute as the Board may from time to time determine.

(2)The members of the Institute shall enjoy such rights and privileges as may be specified in the Statutes.
