14. The Chairperson of the Board

(1)There shall be a Chairperson of the Board who shall be appointed by the President.

(2)A person is qualified for appointment as a Chairperson of the Board if that person—

(a)holds an earned Doctorate degree from a university recognized in Kenya;

(b)has fifteen years' experience in a health-related field, ten of which shall be in senior management level; and

(c)meets the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
