(1)The philosophy of the Institute is to—(a)be dedicated to advancing human health through research and academic excellence, innovation and strong collaboration and partnerships;(b)foster innovation, research and academic leadership, integrity, generate intellectual property and transform research into solutions that improve quality of human health; and(c)generate impactful knowledge that drives progress towards improving human health and society by collaborating with local and global partners and nurturing transformational leaders and mentors.
