3. Commissioner and other officers
(1)There shall be a Commissioner for Co-operative Development whose office shall be an office in the public service.(2)There shall be such number of officers, including deputy Commissioners, as may be necessary to assist the Commissioner in the administration of the provisions of this Act.(3)The Commissioner shall be responsible for the growth and development of co-operative societies by providing such services as may be required by co-operative societies for their organization, registration, operation, advancement and, dissolution and for administration of the provisions of this Act.
