IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 25(1)(e) of the National Museums and Heritage Act, the Cabinet Secretary for Gender, Culture, the Arts and Heritage, after consultation with the National Museums of Kenya, declares the buildings and adjoining land, set out in the Schedule hereto, which buildings and adjoining land are deemed to be of historical interest, to be national monuments and protected areas within the meaning and for purposes of the Act. Any objection to the declaration shall be lodged with the Cabinet Secretary within two months from the date of publication of this Notice.
