IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 281(1) of the Kenya Defence Forces Act (Cap. 199) the Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs, on the recommendation of the Defence Council, makes the following Order-1.This Order may be cited as the Kenya Defence Forces (South Africa Visiting Forces) Order, 2020. 2.The Republic of South Africa is designated as a country to which Part XVIII of the Kenya Defence Forces Act (Cap. 199) applies. 3.The application of Part XVIII of the Act under this Order shall be in accordance with the Defence Co-operation Agreement signed between the Republic of Kenya and the Republic of South Africa on the 12th February, 2019.
