7. Duty of parents or guardians
(1)Every parent or guardian shall cause to be presented for admission or cause to be admitted his or her child, as the case may be, to an education centre.(2)A parent or guardian who fails to comply with subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on conviction, to a fine not exceeding ten thousand shillings.(3)Where a person convicted of an offence under subsection (2) is unable to pay the fine, that person is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to such penalty including community service as the Court shall consider fit to impose.
