35A. Certification of party lists.

(1)A political party intending to submit a party list to the Commission shall, at least fourteen days before the submission of the party list to the Commission under section 35, submit the party list to the Registrar for certification.

(2)The Registrar shall verity that the names appearing in the party list belong to registered members of the political party and certify the party list within seven days after the application under subsection (1).

(3)Any dispute arising out of the certification of a party list under this section shall be referred to the Political Parties Dispute Tribunal for determination.[Act No. 2 of 2022, s. 31]
