203. Accreditation of energy matters, energy auditors, etc.
(1)The Authority shall appoint and rank persons having such qualifications as prescribed, to be—(a)energy managers, who shall assist in promoting practices relating to efficient energy management;(b)energy auditors, who shall be qualified to conduct energy audits;(c)energy service providers; and(d)issue to those appointed, certificates of accreditation.(2)Every person who is issued with a certificate under subsection (1) shall be required to sit for such examinations at such periods as the Authority may prescribe and where the Authority so requests, submit performance reviews at such intervals as specified by the Authority.(3)The Authority shall maintain a register of all accredited energy managers, energy auditors and energy service providers, appointed by it and the register shall be availed to the members of the public.
