17. Application for registration

(1)A person eligible to be registered as a professional or consulting engineer under section 16 may apply to the Registrar, in a prescribed form and on payment of prescribed fee, to be registered under this Act.

(2)An application made under subsection (1) shall be accompanied with certified copies of certificates and other documents as are necessary to prove qualification for registration.
