19. Lead professional engineer
Where the client has appointed more than one engineer or firm and appoints one engineer or firm to lead the other engineers or firms so appointed, the lead engineer or firm may provide the following services—(a)responsibility for the overall administration of all sections of professional services provided by the team including parts of the services which fall within the ambit of the other engineers or firms;(b)responsibility for the overall co-ordination, programming of design and financial control of all the works included in the services; or(c)processing certificates or recommendations for payment of contractors.
