8. Protection from legal action
(1)Neither the Authority, any of its members, officers nor servants shall be personally liable for an act which is done or purported to be done in good faith by such person, on the direction of the Authority or in the performance or intended performance of any duty or in the exercise of any power under this Act or the regulations made thereunder.(2)Any expenses incurred by any person referred to in subsection (1) in any suit or prosecution brought against him before any court in respect of any act which is done or purported to be done by him under this Act or on the direction of the Authority shall, if the Court holds that such act was done in good faith, be paid out of the general fund of the Authority, unless such expenses are recovered by him in such suit or prosecution.
