485. Company in liquidation required to state that it is in liquidation in all invoices, letters and other communications
(1)A company that is in liquidation shall ensure that the following documents state that the company is in liquidation:(a)every invoice, order for goods or services, business letter or order form (whether in hard copy, electronic or any other form) issued by or on behalf of the company, or a liquidator of the company or a receiver or manager of the company's property;(b)each of the company's websites (if any).(2)If the company fails to comply with a requirement under subsection (1), the company, and each officer who is in default, commit an offence and on conviction are each liable to a fine not exceeding two hundred thousand shillings.(3)If, after a company or any of its officers is convicted of an offence under subsection (2), the company continues to fail to comply with the relevant requirement, the company, and each officer of the company who is in default, commit a further offence on each day on which the failure continues and on conviction is liable to a fine not exceeding twenty thousand shillings for each such offence.
