66. Penalty for false statements
If any account, balance sheet, abstract, return, certificate, statement or other document required to be deposited or deposited under any provision of this Act is false in any material particular to the knowledge of any person who signs it, that person shall be guilty of an offence and liable to a fine not exceeding ten thousand shillings or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding twelve months or to both.Source: Kenya Law
