3. Scope of application

(1)The provisions of this Act shall apply to matters relating to the development, management, financing, provision of support services and regulation of the entire irrigation sector in Kenya.

(2)Upon the commencement of this Act, no irrigation development management and regulation may be carried out in Kenya otherwise than under this Act.[Act No. 33 of 2022, s. 3.]
