53. Prohibited payments

Subject to section 46, no payment shall be made out of the Fund—

(a)to the Government without the prior written consent of the Retirement Benefits Authority;

(b)to a member while still in service; or

(c)to any person as a loan, advance or other similar benefit or payment except as provided under this Act or the Retirement Benefits Act (Cap. 197).
