10. Powers of the Board
The Board shall have all the powers necessary for the proper performance of its functions under this Act and subject to the provisions of this Act, the Board shall have the power to—(b)manage, control and administer the assets of the Organisation in such manner and for such purposes as best promotes the purpose for which the Organisation is established;(c)receive gifts, grants, donations or endowments made to the Organisation and make disbursement therefrom;(d)open such bank accounts as may be necessary for the funds of the Organisation into which all moneys received by the Organisation shall be paid in the first instance and out of which all payments made by the Organisation shall be made;(e)determine the provisions to be made for capital and recurrent expenditure and for the reserves of the Organisation; and(f)subject to the approval of the Cabinet Secretary for the time being responsible for matters relating to finance, invest any of the Organization's funds not immediately required for the purposes of this Act, as it may determine.
