28. Establishment of Scientific and Technical Committee

(1)There is established a committee to be known as the Scientific and Technical Committee.

(2)The Committee shall consist of—

(a)a Chairperson; and

(b)such persons with such knowledge and expertise as the Board may consider necessary for the performance of its functions under this Act.

(3)The Chairperson and members of the Committee shall be appointed by the Board, from amongst persons who are not members of the Board, on such terms and conditions as the Board may determine with approval of the Cabinet Secretary.
