39. Establishment of the Fund
(1)There is established a fund to be known as the Agricultural Research Fund.(2)The Fund shall consist of—(a)any funds provided by bilateral or multilateral donors, for the purpose of agricultural research;(b)moneys provided by Parliament specifically for the purpose of agricultural research;(c)any interest from loans and advances; and(d)funds from any other source approved by the Trustees.(3)The Fund shall be managed by the Trustees appointed by the Board on such terms and conditions as the Board shall determine.(4)The Organisation shall apply the moneys received into the Fund to provide strategic and predictable funding to agricultural research activities of the Organisation and carry out the operations of the Organisation.(5)The Trustees may, from time to time and in consultation with the Board make rules for the better management of the Fund.
