28. Application for replacement of a passport and other travel document
(1)Where the holder of a passport or other travel document requires a replacement of the passport or travel document or wishes to change the particulars in the passport or travel document, the holder shall apply in the prescribed manner.(2)An application made under subsection (1) shall not be considered unless accompanied by the passport or travel document that is being held by the applicant.(3)Upon issuance of a new passport or travel document the previously issued passport or travel document shall be cancelled.
