35. Application for registration of produce and by-products dealers
(1)No person shall process, import, export, or act as an agent or dealer of coconut produce and by-products unless he is registered by the Authority.(2)An application for a registration certificate shall be as set out in Form D in the First Schedule.(3)Every certificate of registration issued shall be as set out in Form E of the First Schedule.(4)Every registration certificate shall remain valid for a period of three years from the date of issue.(5)Any person who contravenes the provisions of subparagraph (1) commits an offence and shall be liable to a fine not exceeding six thousand shillings or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months, or to both.
