32. Deployment of Defence Forces to restore peace in Kenya
(1)Pursuant to Article 241(3)(c) of the Constitution, the Defence Council shall deploy the Defence Forces in any part of Kenya affected by unrest or instability to restore peace upon approval by the National Assembly.(2)Whenever the Defence Forces are deployed to restore peace in any part of Kenya pursuant to subsection (1), the Chief of the Defence Forces shall be responsible for the administration, control and overall superintendence of the operation.
