7. Determination of strength of Defence Forces
(1)The Defence Forces shall consist of such maximum number of members as shall be determined, from time to time, by the National Security Council, on the recommendation of the Defence Council.(2)There shall be established such units and formations in the Defence Forces as the President may, in consultation with the Defence Council, determine.(3)Under the direction of the President, the Cabinet Secretary shall, by notice in the Gazette, assign names to units and formations of the Defence Forces and vary or replace any such names.
