8. Term of office

Subject to the provisions of this Order, the Chairperson and members of the Council shall hold office for a term of three (3) years and shall be eligible for re-appointment for one further term:Provided that in the case of the initial members appointed under this Order, the Council shall, at its first meeting, elect—

(a)four (4) members whose terms of office shall expire at the end of two years from the date of appointment; and

(b)other members whose terms of office shall expire at the end of three years from the date of appointment.
