12. Protection from personal liability

12. Protection from personal liability
(1)No matter or thing done by any director of the Authority or by any officer, employee, agent or servant thereof shall, if the act or omission was done bona fide for the purpose of executing a function, power or duty under the Act, render such member, officer, employee, agent or servant personally liable to any action, claim or demand whatsoever.(2)The provisions of subsection (1) shall not relieve the Board of the liability to pay compensation or damages to any person for any injury to him, his property or any of his interests caused by the exercise of any power conferred by this Act or by the failure, whether wholly or partially, or any work.
