7. Meetings of the Board
(1)The Chairperson shall preside at all meetings of the Board at which the Chairperson is present, but in the absence of the Chairperson the members present at the meeting shall appoint one of their number to preside at that meeting.(2)The quorum for the Board meeting shall be seven members.(3)The Board may co-opt, for such period as it may think fit, not more than three persons whose assistance or advice it may require, but persons so co-opted shall not be counted as members for the purpose of forming a quorum and shall not be entitled to vote at any meeting of the Board.(4)Every decision of the Board shall in the absence of consensus, be by a simple majority of the members present and voting, but in the case of an equality of votes the Chairperson or the person presiding shall have a casting vote.(5)Subject to this Order, the Board may regulate its own procedure, and the procedure for any committee of the Board and for attendance of any other persons at its meetings.
