7. Functions and powers of the Board
(1)The Board shall, be responsible for the administration, management and development of the Agency.(2)The Board shall have all the powers necessary for the proper performance of its functions under this Order, and in particular, but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the Board shall—(a)administer the assets and funds of the Agency in such manner and for such purposes as shall promote the purposes for which the Agency is established;(b)receive donations, grants or other moneys on behalf of the Agency and make legitimate disbursement therefrom;(c)have power to enter into association and agreement with other institutions, persons, bodies or organizations, within or outside Kenya, as the Board may consider desirable or appropriate and in furtherance of the purpose for which the Agency is established.
