5. Board of Directors

5. Board of Directors

The Corporation shall have a Board of Directors constituted in accordance with section 6(1) of the State Corporations Act (Cap. 446) and shall consist of—

(a)a non-executive chairman appointed by the President;

(b)the Chief Executive Officer who shall be the Managing Director and Secretary to the Board;

(c)the Permanent Secretary, of the Ministry for the time being responsible for tourism;

(d)the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance;

(e)the Town Clerk, Nairobi City Council; and

(f)six other members to be appointed by the Cabinet Secretary for the time being responsible for Tourism.
