27. Hospital policies

(1)The Board may make policies in respect of the Hospital for the better carrying out of the provisions of this Order.

(2)The policies referred to in subparagraph (1) shall provide for—

(a)the procedure for the appointment, discipline, and dismissal of the staff of the Hospital;

(b)performance parameters and targets for a department, section or member of staff of the Hospital;

(c)levies, fees or charges that may be imposed by the Hospital with respect to its services; and

(d)anything for which a policy is required for the effective performance of the functions of the Hospital.
