54A. Establishment of an Inter-ministerial Committee

(1)There is established an Inter-ministerial Committee consisting of officers from—

(a)the Ministry responsible for immigration;

(b)the Ministry responsible for labour;

(c)the Ministry responsible for security;

(d)the Attorney-General; and

(e)the Ministry responsible for foreign affairs.

(2)The officer from the Ministry responsible for labour shall be the chairperson of the Inter-ministerial Committee.[Act No. 19 of 2014, s. 42.]
