40. State officer to sign Specific Leadership and Integrity Code
(1)Upon appointment or election, a State officer shall sign and commit to the specific Leadership and Integrity Code issued by the relevant public entity at the time of taking the oath of office or within seven days of assuming a State office.(2)The High Court may upon application by any person, declare the assumption of office by a state officer to be invalid for want of executing a commitment to the specific leadership and integrity code.
