27. Staff of the Service
(1)There shall be a secretariat of the Service which shall provide administrative, secretarial and other assistance to the Service.(2)The secretariat shall comprise of—(a)such professional, technical and administrative officers and support staff as may be appointed by the Board in the discharge of its functions; and(b)such public officers as may be seconded by the Public Service Commission upon the request of the Service.(3)The members of staff of the Service shall be paid such remuneration or allowances as the Board may, in consultation with the Salaries and Remuneration Commission, determine.
