3F. Rights to civil, political and economic rights

(1)Every person with mental illness shall have the right to exercise all civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights guaranteed under the Constitution and any other written law in force in Kenya.

(2)The exercise of the rights under subsection (1) shall only be limited to the extent and in the manner provided for under this Act.[Act No. 27 of 2022, s. 6.]
