39. Authorized officers

39. Authorized officers

(1)The Director-General shall designate and appoint an employee of the authority to be an authorized officer for purposes of carrying out the functions of the Authority.

(2)In carrying out the duties of an authorized officer, the authorized officer shall have such powers as may be necessary for proper carrying out of such duties.
