22A. Assessment of officers
(1)Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act, the Central Bank may, from time to time, where it deems it necessary to do so, carry out an assessment of the professional and moral suitability of a person managing or controlling an institution.(2)An assessment under this section shall be in accordance with such criteria as may be prescribed.(3)Where, upon an assessment under this section, the Central Bank is satisfied as to the professional and moral suitability of the person managing or controlling an institution, it shall so certify in writing to the institution.(4)A person who, upon an assessment under this section, is not certified by the Central Bank as fit and proper to manage or control an institution, shall be deemed to be disqualified from holding office and shall cease to hold office.
