120. Requirements for conclusion and execution of mineral agreements
(1)The Cabinet Secretary shall have regard to provisions of Article 71 of the Constitution prior to executing any mineral agreements, or other agreement relating to the exploitation of any natural resources.(2)Any agreement relating to large scale mining operations on terrestrial and marine areas shall be submitted to the National Assembly and the Senate for ratification before execution by the Cabinet Secretary.
