194. Replacement of originals

An authorised officer may, upon being satisfied that the original of any document or instrument evidencing any right under this Act has been lost, destroyed or rendered illegible, at the request of the holder of such document or instrument and on payment of any prescribed fee—

(a)prepare, endorse, certify and issue to the holder a copy of the original; and

(b)enter details of the copy in the register.
