13. Performance of the function in the absence of an office holder
(1)In the absence of the Director, the Council may appoint acting Director from among the Deputy Directors as an acting Director during the period of absence and who shall hold office for a period of ninety days.(2)In the absence of the Director and the Deputy Directors, the Council may appoint an acting Director from among the senior members of the academic staff of the National Polytechnic.(3)In the absence of a mem ber of staff of the National Polytechnic other than the Director and Deputy Directors, the Director may appoint a suitable person to perform the functions of the said officer during the period of absence.
