56. Advisory council for rehabilitation of narcotic addicts
(1)The Cabinet Secretary shall appoint a council to be known as the Advisory Council for the Rehabilitation of Narcotic Addicts consisting of a Chairperson and such number of other persons, not exceeding fifteen, as the Cabinet Secretary thinks fit, from among persons who are qualified and have had experience of, and shown capacity in, matters relating to the care, treatment and rehabilitation of persons addicted to narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances or, in administration or finance.(2)The terms and conditions of appointment of the Chairperson and other members of the Council shall be such as shall be prescribed by the Cabinet Secretary by regulations.
