For the avoidance of doubt, the Commission as a successor Commission shall, pursuant to Article 59 (5) (c) of the Constitution, be a Commission within the meaning of Chapter Fifteen of the Constitution and shall have the status and powers of a Commission under that Chapter.Source: Kenya Law
