19. Oaths and affirmations
(1)The Director-General and every member of the Service shall, before assuming office, make and subscribe to the respective oaths or affirmations as prescribed in the Third Schedule—(a)in the case of the Director-General, before the President; and(b)in the case of every other member of the Service, before the Director-General.(2)The oath shall bind the Director-General and every member of the Service during and after expiry or termination of employment or engagement with the Service.
