A police officer shall upon being enlisted, make and sign before an officer authorized by law to administer oaths or before the Inspector-General, in English or Swahili and in such manner as the police officer may declare to be most binding on his conscience, the oath or the affirmation set out in the Fourth Schedule.Source: Kenya Law
