40. Obstructing an officer
A person who—(a)assaults, resists or wilfully obstructs a member of the Service in the performance of his or her duties or any person acting in aid of the member of the Service;(b)induces or does any act intended to induce a member of the Service to neglect or act contrary to duty as a member of the Service; or(c)induces or does any act intended to induce a member of the Service to commit a breach of discipline,commits an offence and shall be liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years.
