12. Deputy Directors

12. Deputy Directors

(1)There shall be appointed such number of Deputy Directors to assist the Director in the execution of his or her powers and functions under the Constitution, this Act and any other written law.

(2)The Deputy Directors shall exercise the powers and functions subject to superintendence, directions and control of the Director.

(3)The Deputy Directors shall be appointed in a competitive and transparent manner.
